NASR puts cold water on cold start, COAS says on missile launch

According to ISPR, the missile has a range of 60 to 70 kilometers.

Pakistan has successfully undertaken a training launch of short range surface to surface ballistic missile ‘NASR’.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa witnessed the launch of the missile.

Pakistan has successfully conducted a series of training launches and tests during the current week for validation of new technical parameters of ‘NASR’ with enhanced range from 60 kilometres to 70 kilometers.

NASR is a high precision weapon system with the ability of quick deployments.

Speaking on the occasion, COAS General Bajwa said war must be avoided at all costs and our strategic capability is a guarantee of peace against a highly militarized and increasingly belligerent neighbor.

He said Pakistan will go to any length to ensure regional peace and stability.

President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and services chiefs have congratulated the scientists and the nation over successful launch of ‘NASR’ missile.
